HERE's to 80 YEARS!

prohibition_1.jpg

December 5, 1933, prohibition ended in the United States of America.  It has been 80 years now since repeal day. Now there are no shortages of fine cocktails, wine and beer in Boston. Here are some of my favorite places to have a drink: (In no particular order)  J.M Curley's, Smith and Wollensky (at the Castle), Bukowski's,  Drink,  My house, etc etc.. The list could go on. Celebrate in style tonight and raise a glass to the 21st Amendment.

Cheers!  (The valediction, not the bar)

Thanksgiving at home

Moving to the suburbs from downtown Boston this year afforded Jenn and I the space to undertake the task of hosting Thanksgiving this year. I think it went off smashingly.

The family drank, we ate, we had a great time! It was a daunting task at first but after the dust has settled, I actually am looking forward to next year.

Hope everyone had a great holiday and was as blessed with the good fortune we have had this year.

Cheers!
